POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be expected to successfully:

• Write accurate estimates of vehicle damage and/or service needs, per consultation from technical staff
• Update estimates as needed, creating supplements per technician’s input
• Act as an interface between the repair shop and the administrative staff, participating in daily operations meetings and communicating information so that staff members and clients are updated accordingly
• Provide an excellent customer service experience for our clients
• Provide leadership and management for the workshop/production staff such that company objectives and targets are met or exceeded
• Verify the accuracy of all repair orders and supplements for timely billing
• Verify the quality standard for each clients’ vehicle is met or exceeded

We are a collision repair facility based out of the Lake City neighborhood of Seattle looking for a qualified parts department and shop assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is hard-working, self-motivated and knows how to work with people. This position also requires receiving parts from deliveries throughout the day and must have the physical ability to do heavy lifting from time to time. The parts/shop assistant is a liaison between the office, the parts department, and the shop; he/she passes information on parts/estimates between departments, handles parts deliveries between areas, and manages the applicable paperwork. Training on all necessary procedures will be provided.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
If you are hired for this position, you will be expected to successfully:
- Handle incoming parts deliveries, sort them to shelves, and manage returns
- In an administrative office setting, accomplishes general clerical tasks, such as data entry and occasional customer service
- Passes requests and communication between the front office and shop area
- Adjusts estimates, parts orders, and work orders, subject to information received from the front office and shop area
- Assist with cleaning shop areas as necessary
- Occasionally help with vehicle deliveries or transporting materials, using the shop truck

We are seeking an auto body repair apprentice tech to join our team.  This position will work under 1 or more lead technicians/mentors.  This is a 3 year mentorship program where you will be trained by the best technicians in the industry; required to meet specific goals and skills by pre-determined time frames, participate in regular coaching/mentor meetings and evaluations.  By the completion of the mentorship program, you should be able to make $35K to $45K.
